2016 Minnesota Manufacturers’ Summit
Join us and members of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce for the “Minnesota Manufacturers’ Summit 2016” from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, 7800 Normandale Ave., S., Bloomington.
Network with your peers as we explore the steps necessary to keep Minnesota manufacturers competitive in today’s global economy.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the program gets underway at 10:00 a.m. with a welcome from MPMA member, Eric Gibson, president of UMC Inc., and Chair of the Minnesota Manufacturers Coalition. There are three programs focused on manufacturing, a luncheon, and a keynote address by Susan Marvin, vice chair, Marvin Windows and Doors.

MN OSHA ADOPTS FEDERAL OSHA REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
As of March 18th, 2015 MN OSHA has adopted the Federal OSHA Injury Reporting Requirements which will change the types of injuries that must be reported to MN OSHA. While MN OSHA has adopted these reporting requirements now, these requirements do not go into effect until October 1st, 2015.
